On Thursday, March 2, Stelia Aerospace inaugurated its new aeronautical plant of the future on its Méaulte site in France, in the presence of Xavier Bertrand, regional president, Fabrice Bregier, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Airbus, and Cédric Gautier, Of Stelia Aerospace.
After over two years of transformation, the Stelia Aerospace plant in Méaulte, specialized in the assembly of aerostructures, has become one of the most modern in Europe.
REEL was very involved in the implementation of this new plant, supplying the Barque 11/12 chain.
This innovative production line, based on the moving line principle, enables Stelia to increase its production rates and to reduce its manufacturing costs.
Ultimately, our customer will be able to produce at a rate of 63 A320 frontpoints per month.
At the inauguration, many interlocutors expressed to our president Philippe Frantz, their satisfaction with the performance of REEL and the effectiveness of the means delivered.
The director of the Méaulte plant, the purchasing manager Stelia, as well as the users of the production chain welcomed the significant contribution made by REEL to the success of Stelia’s plant of the future.
